OMG Nail Strips Review*
Before Christmas I was asked if I wanted to review some nail strips from OMG Nails Strips. I took up the opportunity as I'd never tried out any full nail wraps before so thought it would be a good opportunity to test them to see what they were like.

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nail Art
Hello all,
Last week I was contacted by Vegas.com, who are looking for inspiration for the perfect night out on the town. The featured hotel this month is the Aria Resort which looks amazing and what better way to plan a manicure for a night out in Vegas than thinking about all the things that it's famous for and what's more famous than the casinos and the strip?

I decided to paint each nail differently but still following the theme. On my thumb I have gone for a dice. I used Models Own Snow White for the base (this is also the base for my middle and little finger) and then my Barry M Nail Art Pen in Black for the dots. My index finger features a bright red poker chip. I used Essence Roller Coaster for the base to look like the green felt of the table. Once that was dry I painted on a white semi circle on the tip of my nail, this was so that when I painted on Barry M Bright Red the colour would really pop. I then used my White Nail Art Pen to add in the detail. My middle finger is stamped with a dollar stamp from my MoYou London Tourist Plate 02 (shhhh, it's actually the New York themed one, but no one has to know!). When thinking about Vegas, I thought of the wedding chapels. I used a base of Essence It's Raining Men, which has a beautiful shimmer, I then added a nail art sticker of a silhouetted couple with a heart, to represent a couple getting married under the stars. My little finger nail is the ace of clubs. I did the details with my black nail art pen.
I think my nails are all set for a night out in Vegas... What do you think?

New Nail Storage and Organisation
I have wanted to sort my polish collection for a while now and having moved fairly recently it seemed like the perfect time to start a project like this. I got a new storage box for some of my nail things the other week and I have started reorganising my stash. It's nowhere near finished yet, but it feels good to have made a start at least.
I started off with just one bag for polishes but as my collection grew so did the bags and boxes! This is what I ended up with before my new storage.
And this is just what fit in the photograph! I had some other bits in some little drawers along with things like make-up and hair accessories. I was in serious need of some organisation and thought you might want to see what I have done so far.

Models Own: Sticky Fingers Review*
Hi all,
I've got another review of one of Models Own's latest collections. I am a bit behind on talking about this one because of a theme I set myself for the month of March, but here it it... better late than never. In March Sticky Fingers were launched.

Fake Tattoos Nail Tattoos* - Valentine's Day Nails
Hello all,
I was recently contacted by Fake Tattoos asking if I would like to review some of their nail tattoos and I of course said yes please! They are a Swedish company working with guest designers to create unique body and nail tattoos. I was sent their Ocean and Red designs.

These are such cute little tattoos and really handy for adding a quick dash of nail art to your manicure. I decided as it's almost Valentine's Day that I would create a Valentine's design using some of the tattoos from both sets I was sent.
I have used the little paper plane from the Ocean design and then kiss from the Red design to create my sealed with a kiss manicure. First of all I started with a pink base of Revlon in Fuchsia Fever. A bright pink which has to be a must for Valentine's Day! After leaving that to dry it was time for my tattoos. The instructions for applying are very straightforward and the application is fairly fuss free.

Polish Party: January Blues - Cinderella Nails
Hi all,
It's nearing the end of the month again and for me that means it's Polish Party time. This month we decided out theme would be January Blues, doing designs using blue to help cheer up what is supposed to be the most depressing month. It actually comes in handy that I have to post this month's early as today is Blue Monday, which is supposed to be the most depressing day of the month!
Anyway, enough of that, on to something happy! What a brilliant way to use one of my Secret Santa presents Sinful Colors in Cinderella. If you are interested to find out more about the Secret Santa I took part in you can read about it here.

When you move it in the light it has a colour shift effect, with loads of tiny pink glitter particles in it. You can't really see that in the picture unfortunately. This is a really sheer colour so would be perfect over the top of another colour for some added shimmer, or if you want to wear it on it's own you will need at least three coats, like I have here.
I was inspired by the name of the polish to create a Disney Cinderella look. This is one of those colours that really is as described, as it matches Cinderella's dress. To add a Disney princess touch to my manicure I added silver swirly nail stickers and some simple dots to finish off the pattern. I thought this looked a bit like the magical swirls when Cinderella's fairy godmother gets her ready for the ball.
I am really pleased with these nails and think they are simple but effective. Also, what could be better to cheer you up in January that pretty nails combined with Disney! I'd love to see what different things other people have done with Sinful Colors Cinderella, leave me a link in the comments so I can take a look.
You'll be able to see the other ladies taking part in this months Polish Party by clicking the links below. Enjoy and share the love x
